Jay Schadler is an Emmy Award-winning journalist with ABC News. He has been a correspondent and anchor for the network for 25 years, reporting for all major platforms including PrimeTime, 20/20, Good Morning America, and Nightline.

The specials are considered by many as one of broadcasting’s first forays into “reality TV.”

In the winter of 2000, Jay’s hitchhiking road stories aired as a weekly television series called Tale Lights for the Bravo Art and Film Network.
