History of the Inn
Established in 1989, the Chocksett Inn began as a traditional New England Inn providing outstanding accommodations for vacation and business travelers while specializing in long-term stays and relocations.
The Inn’s restaurant has evolved into one of the area’s best restaurants with a casual Pub Room and cozy Fireside Room offering a Traditional New England menu.
Over time, the Inn has also grown into one of New England’s most talked about wedding venues with the addition of the Laurelwood Ballroom in 2007, accommodating events up to 275 guests.
Owned and operated by Ed and Jan Troisi, the Chocksett Inn is known for making every guest feel right at home.

Room Descriptions
Romantic Gardens
Upon entering the Chocksett Inn’s romantic gardens, you and your guests will feel as though you have entered a private garden room, encompassed with lush green lawns, an abundance of flowers, and a white gazebo that is the perfect backdrop for on-site weddings and photographs.
Laurelwood Ballroom
This beautiful room accommodates wedding receptions from 40 to 275 guests. Upon entering, the Foyer will take your breath away with its cathedral ceilings, grand chandelier, private bar, and sitting area with fireplace that acts as the perfect setting for mingling among wedding guests during cocktail hour.
The Ballroom is a traditional New England setting where your wedding day dreams can come true. The room’s chandeliers, French doors, neutral color palette, large dance floor, and romantic atmosphere is perfect for your wedding celebration with family and friends.
Canopied Deck
The Canopied Deck is the location for couples who are fond of nature. Located off the main Inn, with its babbling brook and peaceful charm, it becomes the perfect location for more intimate affairs accommodating up to 100 guests.

Bridal Suites
The Chocksett Inn has two Bridal Suites for our brides to prepare for the big day. Invite your bridesmaids to reminisce and create lasting memories. Or, simply wait until the event draws to a close to unwind in the comfort of your suite as a newly married couple.
Guest Suites
Our 25 one- and two-room suites offer queen and double beds, spacious living areas with full kitchenettes, and private baths in every room. All rooms include free wireless high speed Internet access, cable TV, inroom coffee, hairdryers, and ironing boards. Guests are welcome to use our Workout Room, equipped with free weights, treadmill, four group machines, Nordic Track, and Life Cycle, or our On-site laundry facilities. All overnight guest will enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast.
Cuisine & Superior Service
The Inn offers an array of wedding menu selections. Our Executive Chef will amaze you and your guests with his culinary ability. The Executive Chef and Wedding Coordinator also welcome the opportunity to work with you in customizing a menu to meet your needs.
Restaurant
The Restaurant at Chocksett Inn offers creative dishes in a comfortable and casual atmosphere.
Open for dinner and rehearsal dinner events, the Inn’s Fireside Room and Pub Room has developed a reputation for outstanding food and friendly hospitality. All of our dishes are made from the highest-quality ingredients. To ensure you the freshest products and variety, the menu changes seasonally.

Our experienced staff has a way of making you and your guests feel special and comfortable with their friendly hospitality and attention to detail.
